JEDA, LLC is Hiring a Field Technician Near Alexandria, VA
Description
6 month contract to perm position.
This is a contract to perm position for up to 6 months. Conversion to perm can occur anytime within that period.
JEDA is a growing company seeking a senior level IT field technician to add to its Field Services team. We are seeking a technician experienced with IT hardware and network cabling. We work in various commercial environments providing smart hands services, involving server and switch hardware, along with network patching and structured cabling.
JEDA is open to training candidates with little experience but they must possess demonstrable IT skills and knowledge related to the IT industry.

Requirements
An FE provides installation and troubleshooting support for CPE devices in addition to other responsibilities. Interested candidates must meet the following requirements.
1. Must be able to lift 50lbs
2. Must be able to use ladders
3. Travel (local and national)
4. Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation
5. Must be a US citizen and be able to show proof of citizenship
Qualifications
Interested candidates may have the following qualifications:
1. Server and network hardware experience
2. Network cable installation and testing
3. IT equipment rack and stack
4. IT equipment troubleshooting
5. Command line experience
6. Data center experience
Experience
It is desired that candidates have hardware experience with the following platforms:
1. Dell
2. HP
3. SuperMicro
4. Mellanox
5. Cisco
6. Juniper
7. Polycom
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
